Our team is available to assist you with an expedited response for active, or live, roadside events between 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.  After hours inquiries will be answered the next business day. If you are in need of support for an active event outside of the 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. window, please call 888-295-5060 or call 800-367-3743 and select option 2.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What types of vehicles are covered?
Light, medium, and heavy duty passenger vehicles and trucks, motor homes, trailers with roadside assistance coverage, motorcycles and trailers that are pulled by a covered vehicle. 
What types of vehicles are not covered?
Horse or livestock trailers with animals, buses, golf carts
What if a customer has to pay out-of-pocket?

Our agreement with Agero allows for towing from disablement location to nearest repair facility plus 20 miles.  If the customer wishes to be towed a distance greater than this, the customer will incur an out-of-pocket expense that must be paid at the time of service with a credit card. The customer may submit a receipt for this out-of-pocket expense to be reviewed for reimbursement.

Please note, Agero does NOT process reimbursements for overages or out-of-pocket expenses. These reimbursement requests should be submitted to ERIE or the agent. Please note applicable policy limits would apply.

For reimbursement review and processing, submit a paid roadside receipt with customer info, policy number and vehicle information or 
complete the Roadside or Glass Reimbursement Request Form and submit along with paid invoice for reimbursement review and processing to: claimsprocessing@erieinsurance.com or fax to: (814) 461-1372

Or, if an agent has check writing authority, the agent can write a reimbursement check and forward the check information along with supporting receipts via email to: agentcheckemail@erieinsurance.com or fax to (877) 244-7581 for processing.

What if a customer does not have roadside assistance coverage on their policy?
Customers without Emergency Roadside Assistance Coverage can still benefit from Agero's competitive rates and service guarantee
