How do I Create a New Job?

Where we will be working: Gray Bar > Dashboard

Follow the steps below to create a new job. Required information will have a blue highlight around that field. If any required information is missing you will see an error and Swoop will highlight the missing field in red.

Location(s): Valid locations are required to successfully create a new job. There are three primary methods of inputting an address. Swoop is integrated with Google Maps. Anything searchable in Google Maps is searchable in Swoop. 

a) Type an exact address
b) Start typing an address and select an address from Google Maps' auto suggest
c) Navigate anywhere on the map and drop a pin on the location

Request Location: This feature sends an SMS text message to your customer to share their location. Keep in mind that the link in the text message will only work on smartphones. 

Once the customer enters their location, the address in the job will automatically be updated. If your driver is already en route to the customer, the driver must be updated of the new location as his navigation will not change. 

Once the job is created, you will see the job in the Pending Tab section.
