Guidelines for additional charges

There may be instances when a job is complicated or requires more equipment than initially planned. In these irregular cases follow the below guidelines.

All additional charges listed below require photo evidence to support your request. Without a photo, you risk having your additional charge sent to audit or rejected. Review our photo guidelines here.

Additional notes:

  • Disablement locations and tow-to destinations within your designated territory do not qualify for deadhead or out of area charges. If you need to review your zip codes, you can check them out in Swoop and reach out to PAG for adjustments.
  • You must abide by your contracted rates for the dispatched service itself and any contracted rates for any necessary winching, dollies/skates/GoJaks, accident clean up and additional towing. Guidelines on our additional charge process can be found here and your rates can be reviewed in Swoop.
  • If you have a vehicle that you have towed in to your storage on our behalf, you are not eligible to add release-type fees such as admin or gate fees. All portions of the tow in and out, including storage, are to be paid at your contracted rate on a PO basis.
  • You can review your average additional charge amounts for road and/or tow jobs in the Volume Insights tab of the Swoop Insights Dashboard, including how your averages compare to other similar providers in your territory.
