How to resolve chat issues related to Avast Antivirus

Due to a recent error in an update Avast Antivirus released, you may be experiencing issues accessing our live job chat. 

Before contacting PAG, please complete the following 4 steps, which should fix the issue. 

In these steps you will be adding Agero Chat to your Avast “whitelist”, or in other words, a list of entities Avast considers trustworthy. 

Once completing the steps, if you are still experiencing issues, please reach out to PAG and we will assist.

Step 1: Open Avast on your computer and go to the Avast dashboard.

Step 2: Click Menu, and click the Settings tab. Click the Exceptions tab under the General tab

Step 3: Under this tab, click ADD ADVANCED EXCEPTION and a new window will appear. Click on “Website/Domain” option, then type in “agero-roadside.prod.c1conversations.io” in the text field. 

Copy and paste likely will not work when using this field so typing it in is important

Step 4: Click ADD EXCEPTION to save the domain.

Access to chat should now be available.
